Attendance is required and expected. **Syllabus Statement Classroom Lecture Capture (CLC): Classroom Lecture Capture (CLC) refers to the recording of lectures and other instructional activities, e.g., lectures along with anything projected from your laptop during class such as slides, websites, and videos that are intended to supplement the students’ learning experience. For privacy reasons, camera views do not generally include students. Villanova classrooms that are lecture capture equipped are identified with a Mediasite and/or Zoom sticker. Per faculty request, classes scheduled in CLC designated classrooms may be recorded (audio and video) automatically and used for educational purposes only. A faculty member may elect to make the recordings available to students for viewing in the Blackboard LMS. The class recordings may be used by students for learning purposes, such as studying or reviewing course content, preparing for exams, assisting with language difficulties, providing continuity of learning during illness, weather disruptions, and supporting their individual learning needs. CLC does not serve as an in-class lecture replacement. Students may not download these recordings unless authorized by the faculty. Students do not have permission to share the recordings with anyone. If faculty intend to use the recordings in future courses, all identifying student information must be removed.**
