This course is graded out of 1000 points. Each assignment has its own point allotment with a corresponding rubric. Assignments will be graded following the rubric. \\ Team contract- 100pts\\ Video of demo- 50pts\\ Testing and conclusions- 50pts\\ Budget and personnel- 50pts\\ Broader Impact- 100pts\\ Presentation Slides V1- 25pts\\ Poster V1- 25pts\\ Practice Presentation-25pts\\ Draft final report - 50 pts\\ Final Presentation- 200pts\\ Final poster- 75pts\\ Writing Center Feedback- 50pts\\ Final report- 200pts\\ CATME will be used to modify grades based on team participation. CATME outputs a modifier score between 0.2 and 1.05. Student submission scores will be multiplied by their CATME modifier score to generate the score used for grading purposes. \\ W5 CATME, for example, will be used to modify the W5 assignment (broader impacts). \\ Students may earn an F if it is determined that they are not adequately contributing to the success of their group's project. If this is the case, intervention will be attempted by the instructor and the faculty advisor, but if intervention fails, a F grade may stand. This may differ from the student's grade on blackboard, which reflect's the group's grade, not their own. A student may also earn an F if they miss, are late, or are otherwise unprepared for the final oral presentation.
