I am a Senior Research Engineer in Standards and Mobility Innovation Lab, Samsung Research America since Fall 2022. My current research is focusing on Wi-Fi standard. I obtained my Ph.D. from Villanova University under the supervision of Prof. Mojtaba Vaezi.

2023

  • Mar.26: Our paper K-receiver wiretap channel: Optimal encoding order and signaling design is accepted in the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.

  • Mar.01: I have been nominated to receive the College of Engineering Outstanding Doctoral Student Award.

  • Jan.04: The paper IRS-assisted physical layer security in MIMO-NOMA networks is accepted for publication in the IEEE Communications Letters.

2022

  • Oct.26: I have presented a tutorial on WiFi standard to the whole lab.

  • Sep.19: I have joined Standards and Mobility Innovation (SMI) Lab at Samsung Research America as a Senior Research Engineer.

  • Aug.05: Our work with L3Harris has been accepted by Asilomar 2022.

  • Jun.30: I am very happy to share that I have successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis. I am extremely grateful to my advisor Prof. Vaezi for uncountable guidance and support. Special thanks to my Advising Committee. [Video].

  • May.17: I attended the ICC 2022 virtrally.

  • Apr.23: I received IEEE ComSoc Student Travel Grant for the ICC 2022.

  • Apr.22: Our paper has been accepted by IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT).

  • Mar.06: Our paper has been accepted by IEEE ICC Workshop.

  • Feb.28: Our work on MIMO-NOMA security has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.

2021

  • Dec.09: I have been invited to chair the Spectrum Sharing session in DySPAN.

  • Nov.15: Our paper has been accepted by IEEE DySPAN.

  • Oct.13: Re-elected as the N2Women Website co-chair for 2022 academic year.

  • Sep.22: Our paper has been accepted by IEEE ACCESS.

  • Jun.06: I participated in the PROGRESS Workshop at ICASSP 2021 virtually and received an IEEE Signal Processing Society Professional Development grant.

  • Apr.08: I presented my Proposal Defense, "Physical Layer Security in Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access".

  • Mar.08: I won the third place of Technical Excellence and was recognized by the College of Engineering.

  • Feb.23: I organized Spring 2021 Poster Competition.

  • Jan.18: I have been selected as the website Co-Chairs of N2Women for 2021 academic year.

2020

  • Dec.24: Watch our lab's USRP-based experimental results on NOMA [Video].

  • Nov.18: Participate a project with L3Harris Technologies.

  • Oct.26: Our paper has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Communications for publication [PDF].

  • Aug.12: Our paper "Secure transmission in MIMO-NOMA networks" will appear in the IEEE Communications Letters [PDF].

  • Aug.11: I have been selected as the president of CEER Graduate Club (CGC), it is my honor to serve all graduate students in college of Engineering.

  • Jun.09: Our work is now open in ICC, here is the video.

  • May.20: Prof. Vaezi is honored to have received the 2020 IEEE Communications Society Fred W. Ellersick Prize for joint work. So proud of him! Congratulations!

  • May.09: I have been selected to receive an IEEE ComSoc Student Grant to attend the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) virtually.

  • May.05: I attended and served as a Session Chair of IEEE ICASSP 2020 (International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing), Virtual Barcelona, May 4-8, 2020.

  • Feb.24: Our conference paper “IoT Battery Lifetime Enhancement Using Relays: A Large-Scale Analysis” has been accepted in ICC 2020.

  • Feb.24: I won the third place in poster competition.

  • Feb.18: I organized Spring 2020 Poster Competition as the Academic Chair of CEER Graduate Club.

  • Jan.20: Became a member of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) and ComSoc Women in Communications Engineering (WICE).

2019

  • Nov.19: I received IEEE ComSoc Women in Communications Engineering (WICE) Travel Grant to present my work at Globecome 2019.
