ECE3245 & ECE3230

Discrete-Time Signals and Systems & Signal Processing Lab

Spring 2017

ECE3245 * ECE3230 must be taken concurrently. Combined, Thes constitute an undergraduate introductory course on discrete-time signal processing and system analysis with applications to computer engineering offered by Professor Kevin M. Buckley of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Villanova University.

ECE 3245 introduces the theory and practices of signal processing and system analysis, from a decidely discrete-time perspective. Fundamental topics covered are signal representation and classifications, system representation and properties, linear time-invariant systems, convolution, various Fourier transforms, z transforms, sampling, filtering and modulation. ECE 3230 consists of computer based practicums which complement the theory introduced in ECDE 3245.
